Employers: Active Members

Active Members are enrolled in SHBP coverage through their employment relationship with an SHBP Employing Entity. Boards of Education, State Agencies, and certain employers are responsible for submitting a monthly Employer Contribution to SHBP, along with the monthly premium payments for each of their Active Members. Contract Employers are responsible for submitting monthly premiums which represent the full costs of coverage, per the terms of their contract.
