In recent years mental health awareness has received justified focus by the population at large and in this presentation, Optum’s VP of Workplace Wellbeing, Alex Greenberg will share trends, tools, and solutions for employers."

Breaking the Stigma of Substance Use Disorder CVS will be addressing barriers to Medication Assisted treatment (MAT), changing the culture around substance use disorder, and providing next steps such as support tips and key takeaways.
   
Caregiver’s Mental Health: The Sandwich Generation

This course will focus on the mental health needs of those caring for their children and aging parents, also known as the Sandwich Generation. We will discuss the overall mental health challenges faced by many caregivers and identify resources/ support necessary to navigate this season of life.

Bullying, a ubiquitous problem, manifests in both school and workplace environments, challenging and damaging individuals' well-being and productivity. Whether through psychological provocation or physical intimidation, the damaging effects of bullying can be persistent, necessitating comprehensive prevention and intervention strategies in educational and professional settings alike.

   

Working in Resilient Environments (WIRE) - Kaiser Permanente Educational Theatre

This 60-minute workshop uses experiential learning and arts-integration techniques to engage participants and provide them with tools to address stress and burnout and foster a resilient workforce. Expert facilitators utilize collaborative exercises, reflective practices, and creative expression to deepen understanding of the power of resilience and teach strategies that anyone can put into practice in their day-to-day job to improve employee experience and job satisfaction.

   

NAMIs Ending the Silence

Presented by the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), this one-hour presentation is for school staff and focuses on the warning signs, facts, and approaches for students and families regarding mental health conditions. Led by two presenters, it combines informative content with personal experiences of recovery, encouraging dialogue to reduce stigma and promote understanding.

Did you know what you eat can impact your mood?  This course will discuss the connection between what you eat and how it makes you feel. We will also share healthy eating tips and resources to support your mood.

   

The Effects of Social Media on Mental Health

Social media is a big part of our daily life. This course will discuss the positive and negative impact of social media on mental health and provides tips for healthy social media use for adults and teens.
