Welcome to the 2026 Open Enrollment Train-the-Trainer for Plan Year 2027! We are continuing our mission to EDUCATE, ENGAGE and EMPOWER our employers, while you navigate through the 2026 Open Enrollment period and plan for the 2027 Plan Year. The 2026 Open Enrollment Train-the-Trainer Module is designed to offer our Benefits Professionals, employed or contracted with SHBP Employing Entities, supplemental guidance for the Educational Tools and Resources in the Employer Section of the SHBP Website.

Employer Educational Tools, Resources, and additional information related to the SHBP Employer Refresher Training Modules may be accessed in the Employer Section of the SHBP Website to assist with the successful management of employee data and membership healthcare coverage.

Ensure your employees attend an Open Enrollment educational session and review the Active Member Decision Guide to learn more about their benefits.

ENGAGE

Encourage your employees to engage with SHBP on Twitter & Facebook during the virtual Skip the Phones Campaign to learn how to make OE elections online.

EMPOWER

Empower your employees to View & Make OE Elections online 24 hours a day/7 days a week in the SHBP Enrollment Portal from October 19 - November 6, 2026.
