Resilience in School Environments: Understanding and Practice (RISE UP) is a free virtual interactive workshop for educators, administrators, and school staff. It is designed to help school communities utilize a social-emotional, arts-based approach to examine mental health challenges in the school environment and create safe space to practice resilience. Research shows that educator well-being has been linked to stability in schools, teaching effectiveness, and student achievement. Supporting the mental health and resilience of teachers and staff is critical for creating a positive school climate and retaining quality educators.
