    The 5th BENPRO Conference will be held on August 13-15, 2025.

    The conference will be held in person, and no virtual access will be available.

  • Who should attend BENPRO?

    All Benefits Professionals who administer SHBP benefits to their employees, as well as their Human Resources, Finance and Payroll Counterparts and HRIS IT Staff. More importantly, the Benefit Professionals who conduct day-to-day benefits administration functions for SHBP benefits should attend.

  • What is the cost to attend the 2025 BENPRO Conference?

    The cost is $349.00 per person to attend.

  • What is included in the registration fees for attendees?
    • All educational sessions, led by live presenters, including SHRM applicable sessions, where attendees may earn SHRM credits.
    • Mental Health panel and sessions.
    • Vendor/Sponsorship Expos or Events.
    • Complimentary breakfast, coffee, snacks and lunch.
    • Digital Course Materials for educational sessions.
    • Overview Book for all attendees.

  • Can I earn professional credits at the SHBP BENPRO Conference?

    The State Health Benefit Plan (SHBP) is recognized by SHRM to offer Professional Development Credits (PDCs) for the SHRM-CPSM or SHRM-SCPSM. We are currently finalizing the number of credits to be offered during the 2025 BENPRO Conference. More information coming soon.

  • What is the recommended attire?

    For your comfort, business casual attire is appropriate. We suggest you dress in layers as the temperature may vary. Average temperatures range in the high 80s to 90s during the day and mid 70s in the evening. It is suggested that you bring a sweater for the classrooms.

  • Are photography and/or videography taken at the SHBP BENPRO Conference?

    Please note that photographs and footage will be taken throughout the 2025 Benpro Conference. These will be used by the State Health Benefit Plan for marketing and publicity in our publications, on our website and in social media or in any third-party publication.

    SHBP is planning for the BENPRO Conference to be a biennial event based on the level of participation and the educational benefit to attendees. Therefore, please encourage your fellow Benefits Professionals to attend.
