Through our partnership with SHBP Employing Entities, we are empowering the State of Georgia’s workforce to take control of their health coverage!

SHBP Employing Entities primarily include Public School Systems and State Agencies who are required to participate in the Plan. Board Members of Public School Systems, Charter Schools, Critical Access Hospitals, and Federally Qualified Health Centers may also participate in SHBP, but are not required to.

Benefits Professionals employed or contracted with SHBP Employing Entities are the primary contact for their employees. Therefore, SHBP Employer Services works closely with those Benefits Professionals because they play a major role in ensuring their employees timely enroll in coverage, participate in Open Enrollment, and understand the Plan requirements and resources available to them.
